Irish Actors Network Membership vs Forum Membership.

To join the Attic Studio Online Forum

1.   To gain access to the attic studio forum, you must first be an active member of the Attic Studio
If you are not a current member, click here for more info (link to attic charter).

The Attic Forum has a separate registration to IAN. For information on submitting to the Irish Actors Network, please see below.

2. To sign up the Attic forum, you will need to sign up using your proper name, and a password that you will easily remember.

3. Once you have started the registration process, your membership will then need to be approved and activated.
To do this – email forum@theatticstudio.net with ‘activation’ in the header.

Please include the following pieces of information in this email:

A) Your name and log-in name (if different) in the email and let us know you wish to be activated. Be sure to always use the same as the one with which your registered.

B) The date of your last Attic Studio attendance / the subject of the workshop you attended.

C) The name of the Attic Member that invited you

These steps are used to authenticate members and avoid spam.

4.   Once you are activated by administration, you will receive an email from the committee letting you know. You will then be able to post to and read articles on on the forum.

IAN signup info

The Irish Actors Network is a database of Irish Actors who are also current members of The Attic Studio.
Please note: Membership of IAN is separate to membership of the Attic Studio Forum. For Forum info, read the above.

1. In order be listed as part of the network you must:
a)   Be a current member of the Attic Studio
b)   Supply an industry standard CV and headshot (B&W)
c)   Have a CV that demonstrates sufficient experience to be listed as a professional actor on IAN
d)   Be already registered on the Attic Forum

2.   If you fit these criteria, begin the registration using your proper name, and a password that you will remember.

3.   Once you have started the registration process, your membership will need to be reviewed. To submit your CV for approval on IAN, please send an email to ian@theatticstudio.net with ‘IAN approval’ in the header. You will need to attach a current CV and a headshot. If you need help sizing your headshot, please mention this in the email.

4.   Once your information has been reviewed you will receive an email from admin. If your profile is approved, you may go ahead and log in to complete your listing. If your profile is not approved, you may receive further instructions from Attic Studio administration as to reapplication at a later date.
